Mr. Rossum serves as Vice President for Project Development for the Caribbean/South America. He first joined Masada in 2008 as a Masada Fellow assigned to work directly with the Company's CEO, where he excelled in his international business development assignments. His appointment follows an intense 14-month management training program on cellulosic ethanol production in international markets. In his executive capacity, Mr. Rossum works directly with W2E Resources, S.A. (Masada's Dominican Republic affiliate), Tidores (Masada’s Ecuadorian partner) and Coberal (Masada’s South American joint-venture partner) to develop waste-to-ethanol projects in the Dominican Republic, Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, Argentina, Peru, Colombia and Ecuador.
Allen graduated from University of Notre Dame in 1998 with a dual degree in Business Administration and Computer Applications. While attending Notre Dame, he received the Image Award for Athlete of the Year, which is given to individuals who excel in both academics and sports.
Allen played professional football in the NFL for 12 years, and during his career he established several team and league records. He also attended and completed the Wharton School of Business Transitioning with Success Initiative Program and the Kellogg School of Management's Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programs.
